Absolutely not! While our vineyard is primarily The United Methodist Church, ARM seeks to help all people to develop a deeper relationship with God through Jesus Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit.
ARM receives funding from the United Methodist church, right?
Actually, no. ARM is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation and is sustained solely by the grace of God flowing through the gifts of individuals and churches who have a passion to nurture, educate and equip others to minister in the power of the Holy Spirit. ARM receives no funds from the denomination.
If I attend an event, are you going to force me to 'speak in tongues' or make me be 'slain in the spirit?'
Absolutely not. While we will unashamedly teach what the Scriptures say about the Person, work, gifts, fruit and manifestations of the Holy Spirit, we will not ‘force anything upon’ or ‘make anything happen to’ you. The nature of Jesus is love and it is out of that love, grace and service that we offer ministry.
Is all of this emphasis on the Holy Spirit Methodist?
