Sessions are designated times of instruction and impartation to equip laity and clergy to effectively live
the Spirit-filled life, impacting the world for the sake of the Gospel. Equipping Session topics center
on being filled, gifted, empowered and led by the Holy Spirit in ministry to individuals, families
and churches. Sessions take place Friday and

Dr.Frank Billman is the Director of Church Relations for ARM. In his duties with ARM Frank coordinates the Lay Witness Mission, Venture in Discipleship and Life in the Spirit Seminars. He also gives direction to ARM’s cross-cultural ministries and Regional Renewal Fellowships. He has been a United Methodist pastor since 1979 and is now serving as Pastor of Forest Grove UMC in Joelton, TN in addition to his duties at ARM. His passion is to see people and their churches transformed by the power of God.

Equipping Session:

Re-Digging the Supernatural Wells of Methodism - Rediscover Methodism’s exciting history of signs, wonders, miracles and the power of the Holy Spirit. We will also examine reasons for their decline and discover hope for the future.



Rose Booker-Jones is a pastor of Trinity UMC in East St. Louis, IL. Pastor Rose facilitated the merger of three UMCs in East St. Louis into one thriving community of faith of over 200. She has preached, led workshops and assisted in planning various ministries across the country.

Discovering the Joy of Spirit-Empowered Perseverence - One of the Scriptural images of our faith journey is that of running a race. But how do you keep running in the face of a barrage of spiritual, physical and emotional challenges? Feeling weary? Guy Burgo has recently joined the ARM team and is a national speaker on biblical stewardship. He is the President of Stewardship Concepts and President of Planned Giving Ministries. His focus is to advance the Kingdom and glorify God by providing a ministry of stewardship to Christian individuals and families in the areas of biblical estate and gift design. He has two children, named Adam & Emily and a wonderful wife, Kimberly.

Equipping Session:

A Biblical Perspective to Money and Possesions - Did you know that there are more than 2,350 verses in the Bible dealing with money and possessions? Our attitude and actions toward our money and possessions have a direct impact on our relationship with Christ. Join us for a great time of fellowship and learning as we discuss Scriptural highlights of this important topic.



Richard ( Dick ) Burns began as a local preacher in 1948. Following his formal education he served churches in the Western PA conference for 37 years before being appointed a General Evangelist. He has been involved with ARM since its inception and has a Spirit-filled ministry of love, joy and peace.

Equipping Session:

Embracing God’s Eternal Purposes in the Midst of Everyday Life - The Scriptures tell us that God has set eternity in our hearts. As eternal beings, God desires that we would be equipped to live life with eternal purposes finding eternal fulfillment. Examining II Cor. 4:17-18, this session will help you learn how to not let the tyranny of the urgent distract you from fulfilling your eternal purpose in Christ Jesus.



Taylor & Jenny Gallman are ordained elders of the UMC where they have served for 16 years in the North Alabama Conference. In addition, both have worked extensively in the various aspects of healing ministry through Wind of the Spirit Ministries with co-founders Revs. Larry and Audrey Eddings. Gifted in healing and discernment, Taylor spends countless hours teaching and ministering to the spiritually and emotionally wounded. Jenny’s teaching is a tool through which the Holy Spirit works to bring healing and wholeness to others in both the church and the private Christian school where she teaches learning disabled children. They have ministered in several parts of the USA as well as Africa, South America, Philippines, Mexico, and Belarus.

Andy Lambrecht & Holley Potts
Andy Lambrecht - serves as Director of Worship for Faith UMC in Neenah, WI. Not only is he an anointed musician, Andy is an articulate and intelligent ‘diplomat’ in the Body of Christ fostering mutual understanding and eternal perspective among spheres of relationships within the Church.

Holly Potts - is the Minister of Discipleship at Smyrna First UMC in Smyrna, TN. She is currently working on her Masters of Divinity while balancing life as a wife, student and minister. Serving with a contagious faith, she ministers with a heart to teach and a desire to see God’s people equipped in their faith journey.

Identifying the Elephant in the Room: Unspoken Tensions Between Modern and Post Modern Culture - It used to be called the “generation gap” – that distance of understanding between generations that can sometimes strain relationships and hinder mutual growth. That same gap often exists in the church. Differences in philosophy about the church, leadership and what is ‘acceptable’ in worship can dissolve intergenerational unity and cause members of a congregation to just “put up with one another.” Join Holley and Andy as they each share and then open the session for discussion to address some of the ‘elephants in the room’ and come to a place of mutual understanding and Biblical unity.

Claudia Steigler is a gifted Bible teacher who has traveled across the globe teaching in homes, churches and retreats. She is pursuing a Master's in Theology through Kingsway Bible College and Theological Seminary. She is a compassionate teacher with a world vision and prophetic insight that makes the Bible clear.

Bishop James Swanson was elected to the episcopacy in July 2004 and began his duties in the Holston Annual Conference in September 2004. His office is located in Alcoa, Tennessee. At the time of his election, he was Superintendent of the Savannah District of the South Georgia Annual Conference. He is a popular preacher, teacher, and leader within our United Methodist connection.

Preaching That Draws People - Preaching is not peripheral discipline; it is essential to the Church as we seek to make disciples. Your words will either drive them away or draw them to Jesus. We will seek to discover together the Holy Spirit's desire for your preaching.




Jim & Marilyn Walker are the founders of His Name Exalted Ministries. They travel around the world ministering God's presence though the creative use of banners in worship.


Equipping Session:

Visually Enhancing Worship - This session will teach the Scriptural basis of Why, When and How to use banners in Worship. Participants will hear accounts of God's Presence, His Power, and His Healing in and throughout this ministry. By demonstration of fifteen to twenty banners, participants will also learn the meaning of color, fabrics and symbols used in banner making.

Rick Bonfim is appointed as a General Evangelist in the North Georgia Annual Conference; Rick’s heart is to equip and encourage the saints. He enthusiastically proclaims God’s truth and powerfully serves as a vessel of God’s healing.

Ministering Prophetically; Discerning the Spirit’s Voice - is critical to leadership. God's prophetic voice deals with urgency in issues that involve salvation and holiness. This seminar will study the ways and manners of the Holy Spirit, observing the ministry of Jesus. Personal ministry will take place. Come prepared to receive.

Designing Your Will or Trust From A Bibical Perspective - Everything we have belongs to God, so writing our will should be more than just a legal process. A Christian’s will or trust should be prayerfully designed from a Scriptural perspective. We’ll discuss Biblical viewpoints of providing for spouses, children, grandchildren, parents, and favorite ministries, as well as spendthrift, disabled, or wayward children.



Taylor & Jenny Gallman are ordained elders of the UMC where they have served for 16 years in the North Alabama Conference. Jeff Greenway committing his life to Christ during his early teens, God began to place a call upon Jeff’s life to enter full-time Christian service. He is a graduate of Mount Union College (BA: Business), Asbury Theological Seminary (MDiv), and Wesley Theological Seminary (DMin: Evangelism). Prior to serving Reynoldsburg UMC in Ohio, he served as the President of Asbury Theological Seminary, as a District Superintendent, and as a pastor to congregations in Butler and Erie, PA. Jeff is passionate about Biblical preaching and discipleship and is committed to leading others to become all that God has intended.

Walking Out of Brokenness -Sometimes life hurts.  Sometimes it's our fault.  Often times it is not.  How do we respond to pain and brokenness as people of faith?  Is it really possible for God to turn every circumstance together for good for those who live Him and love as called according to his purpose?  This session will be deeply rooted in the life of Jesus, the teaching of Paul and personal experience.




Scott McDermott is Lead Pastor at the Crossing (A United Methodist Congregation) in Washington Crossing, PA. In addition, Scott teaches at Perkins School of Theology, SMU in Dallas, Texas. He is a frequent speaker at conferences in the US and internationally.

The Pathway to Increased Anointing - We often long for greater anointing to be used of God in our areas of ministry, but how does that happen? In this seminar you will discover how you can best position your life to flow in greater effectiveness.




Gary & Sally Moore have been involved with ARM for almost 30 years. Gary is the Executive Director of ARM, and a gifted speaker and leader. He is also a Deacon in the Tennessee Annual Conference. Sally has ministered by his side walking in an anointing of hospitality and of mercy. She also is active in her local church chairing the worship committee as the congregation navigates Spirit-prompted change. Together, God has used them to model a healthy marriage relationship and to mentor and nurture younger couples in life and ministry.

Wisdom for a Lasting Marriage - With an unwavering commitment to Christ and to one another, Gary and Sally have been married for more than 45 years. They have journeyed through seasons of blessing and seasons of challenge. Often used by God to give guidance for couples weathering storms, Gary and Sally will offer wisdom gleaned from their many years together.

Equipping Session:

Worship in a Post-Modern Culture: more than just candles - Contemporary, traditional or emerging? Banners, icons or screens? Candlelight, spotlights or pyrotechnics? Breaking down some stigmas about worship and rebuilding our approach to worship based on Biblical teaching and a pure heart for God.




Richard Rhodes, Founder and Director of Fire in the Mountains in Hendersonsville, NC, is active as a certified lay speaker preaching the healing and delivering power of God. He ministers with a heart to see others walk in the freedom that Christ Jesus gives.

Blessings and Curses: Living in the Blessings and Cancelling the Curses - God’s Word says we are blessed. But the Word also indicates that we can live under curses even to the 3rd and 4th generation. This session will explore the blessings promised in God’s Word and uncover the potential curses that may be hindering your walk with God. Come and give thanks for the blessings and be equipped to cancel the curses in Jesus’ name.

Ron Smitson is The Director of Music Ministries at Trinity United Methodist Church in Pickerington Ohio. Having served in that position for more than twelve years, Ron’s greatest joy is seeing the transformation on people’s faces as they worship God. Having the deep understanding that true worship is just noise without the anointing power of the Holy Spirit helps Ron to keep his focus on Who it is really all about – JESUS!

Making Room for the Holy Spirit in Corporate Worship - This Seminar will focus on the person of The Holy Spirit, the posture of our hearts towards the Holy Spirit, the subsequent focus and planning required, and how to plan so that you can ”let go” under the leading and direction of the Holy Spirit.  It’s not only what is in the bulletin, but what The Holy Spirit of God may want to accomplish on any particular Sunday Morning.

Margie Burger is the Director of Prayer Ministries for ARM. She teaches across the nation challenging the Body of Christ to seek greater intimacy with God through personal and corporate prayer. Her passion has led her to create numerous resources for individuals and churches.

Understanding The Gift Of Intercession - This session is an in-depth look at the gift of intercession – for those who know they have this spiritual gift and for those with questions. Come and explore the Scriptures to define the gift and discover how this gift operates in the Body of Christ. Participants will also learn how to develop and nurture this God-given gift.



J. Lee Grady is an author, award-winning journalist and ordained minister in the Pentecostal Holiness Church. He serves as editor of Charisma magazine, one of America’s most widely distributed evangelical Christian publications. He is the author of three books including, “10 Lies the Church Tells Women” and “25 Tough Questions about Women and the Church” and focuses much of his ministry on releasing women in ministry. In 1994, he wrote, “What Happened to the Fire?: Rekindling the Blaze of Charismatic Renewal”. He has taken his message to Latin America, Asia, Africa and Europe. Lee and his wife, Deborah, have four daughters. They live near Orlando, Florida.

Bill Wilson is a pioneer in Christian psychiatry and directs the activities of the Institute of Christian Growth in Burlington, North Carolina. Dr. Wilson is the author of numerous articles in professional journals. He co-authored a book, “The Grace to Grow, The Power of Christian Faith in Emotional Healing”.

Equipping Session:

Confession, Repentance and Forgiveness: The Route to Holiness - Before His ascension, Jesus said that repentance for the forgiveness of sins would be preached in His name to all nations. Unfortunately, it is often an ignored subject in the modern church. Come discover afresh the importance of the confession of one’s sins, the work of the Holy Spirit in bringing about repentance and the cleansing power of forgiveness.




Sue Wilson & Maryanne Ditter

Sue Wilson - is the wife of a UM Pastor, mother of 3 grown children, and a grandmother. She served in numerous roles over the years, but acknowledges that her greatest training has come from developing a listening ear and being sensitive to the Holy Spirit.


Maryanne Ditter - serves as a youth pastor at Tabor UMC in Woxall, PA, and is a student at Evangelical Theological Seminary. She has a heart to disciple others and to encourage them to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ.

Equipping Session:

Soaking Prayer - will provide two unique opportunities for those participating. You will first be provided with a set of instructions on how to offer the experience of Soaking Prayer to your local church. Secondly, you will experience soaking in God’s presence as you become still before Him. As you focus on your Heavenly Father, session leaders will pray silently for you as the Holy Spirit directs them. They will not ask you how you desire them to pray for you, nor will they lay hands on you. Past participants have shared that they have received deep inner healing, clear guidance, physical healing, refreshment, and blessing.

"Getting Out of Your Comfort Zone" Part 1 -

"Releasing Streams of Living Water Through Expressive Movement" This session will begin with scriptural foundations for movement in Praise and Worship and appropriate garments.  We will then explore  expression through Hebrew dance steps, expressive signing, flag patterns and movement, and use of fabric in praise and worship. Please come dressed comfortable and ready to step out. We recommend taking this basic workshop before the Part 2 Expressive Worship Session

Linda Gregorino is a seminary graduate, author and retreat speaker. With a contagious joy, she ministers across the country as “The Bag Lady,” demonstrating the gifts of the Holy Spirit.

Understanding Spiritual Warfare: Living as Overcomers - Multiple times in I John we are told that we have overcome the wicked one. As the intensity of spiritual battle increases, how do we consistently live that out in our faith journey? With genuine humor, warmth and Divine insight, she will use the Scriptures to help you walk in greater discernment and victory.




Sally Havens is known for walking in wisdom and discernment. Her sensitivity and attentiveness to the Holy Spirit coupled with a God-given gift for teaching have made her an effective and fruitful speaker. She am an ordained deacon with an M/Div degree and balances ministry in teaching with ministry.  She loves being a wife, mother and grandmother.

Growing in Discernment and Wisdom as You Pray for Others - When you are asked to pray for someone, how do you know what to pray? This session will offer Scriptural guidance and practical wisdom on learning to listen to and respond to the promptings of the Holy Spirit when praying. This session has application to anyone seeking to pray for others more accurately and effectively.
