Aldersgate ‘08 Offers:
Adult Ministry: is designed for adults to be filled, gifted, empowered and led by the Holy Spirit
by authentic worship celebrations, powerful keynote speakers and over 30 dynamic equipping
sessions. Bring your church staff, Bible study group, and Sunday school class. Lay leaders will
walk away feeling empowered with new vision and training to grow your church.
Young Adult Ministry: - is here to equip young adults to successfully transition into Christian
adulthood while learning to establish a lifetime of God-honoring decision making. Adult sessions
and times of fellowship will impart understanding on how to discover and respond to God’s
calling on your life.
Youth Ministry called “The Gate ‘08”: - is on a mission to impact students and reinforce
their church youth groups by exposing them to national speakers and relevant equipping
session leaders. From innercity outreach projects to learning about God from skateboarder,
rapper, speaker Chris Greenwood (known as ManaFest), students will be challenged,
equipped and ready to lead their generation to Christ.
Children’s Ministry: - is an opportunity to experience God in fun and creative ways. Children
participate in Spirit-filled worship and Bible-based learning experiences to allow them to meet
Jesus Christ and encounter the power of the Holy Spirit . . . either for the first time or in new ways.
Through the Aldersgate Conference, children have the opportunity to grow as young disciples and ministers of the gospel.

Planning Timeline
March of 2008:
□ Host an informational meeting having people who’ve attended share their testimonies and
show the enclosed promotional DVD – make sure to have registration forms on-hand!
□ Decide how you will get to the conference… Rent a Bus? Carpool? - Then make that
reservation.
□ Promote any fundraisers you are doing!
□ Share verbal announcements in as many venues as possible!
□ Share written announcements in as many venues as possible.

April - May of 2008:
□ Set up a registration table with brochures, ARM brochures, and posters (can be provided
by ARM or made on your own).

□ Show the promotional DVD and Aldersgate brochures in as many venues as possible!

□ Share DVDs of previous Aldersgate Worship Celebration Speakers and equipping sessions.

□ Re-confirm any group transportation reservations. [i.e. confirm reservation with bus rental

June of 2008:
□ June 4, 2008: mail in all registrations together with one check or credit card number in one
envelope to ARM, 121 East Avenue, Goodlettsville, TN 37072
□ Consider hosting a prayer vigil for the event!
□ Communicate travel plans clearly – and repeatedly!
July of 2008:
□ July 2 – 6, 2008 see you in Columbus!
□ Consider having a debriefing time to share all that God did in your lives and to process
together what God may have spoken to you as a congregation!
□ Consider having a testimony time when your church is gathered together to encourage those
who were not able to attend.
Should you choose to fly, Port Columbus International Airport (CMH) is 10 minutes from downtown and boasts multiple low-fare airline options. The hotel does NOT provide an airport shuttle.
